Office Manager and Quickbooks Pro Advisor
I graduated from University of North Texas with a prelaw degree in 1997 and Oral Roberts University with a Masters in Theology in 2009. My educational backgrounds were inspired by my desire to help people.
After graduating from North Texas, I served as an insurance and financial investment sales representative for a large nationwide insurance company. After a few years, I went to work as a retail sales representative with another national company and I was promoted to management within 6 months of service. After several years, I was employed with Apple Inc. in their Solutions Consultant program. While I was with Apple, I was responsible for training clients and employees, management communications with our host company. After obtaining my degree, I have been invited to teach small groups of young people in classroom setting.
My focus, regardless of my position or company, has always been in management and quality control. My role at KL Siple CPA PLLC is to provide our employees with an environment that promotes proper training and development. In addition, I oversee the firm's processes so that we provide our clients quality services. As a QuickBooks ProAdvisors, I can troubleshoot QuickBooks issues and assist in training staff and clients in the operations of QuickBooks. As an added benefit, I assist clients with their software purchase needs so that we can pass down any discounts savings to them.
I am the owner of KL Siple CPA. I began my career in 1985 and I obtained my CPA license in 2004. I love working in public accounting and the opportunity for life-long learning. I serve clients in various industries including real estate, consulting, manufacturing, and various others. Most often I am found working with multifamily or single-family real estate. Outside of the working environment, I enjoy time with my family, eating at great restaurants, and watching re-runs of Golden Girls.
I am from Roscoe, Texas which is a small west Texas town. I played basketball at Tarleton State University while pursuing my undergrad. I completed my Bachelors in Accounting May 2019. August 2020, I finished my Masters in Business Administration from Tarleton State university. I am a CPA candidate for 2021.
My name is Jeremiah S. Carter. I may have been an unconventional choice for an E-file specialist for Kl Siple CPA, but ever since I’ve started working with this company it has brought so many opportunities. Before coming to work for the firm, I attended the University of Texas at Arlington. Afterward, I worked in the theater field as a Lighting and Sound Technician for four years. Although my previous working experiences have had little to do with Accounting, being a technician has helped me profusely within this career. Bringing the skills of my last occupation along with me, being detail-oriented and focused has helped me prosper within the environment and to myself as a professional.
My name is Jalena Ruiz. I have lived her in Waxahachie since August of 1992 when I came here for School. I am married and have two daughters. One who is in college and one who is in High School. I attended Southwestern Assembly of God University and was a part of the first graduating class as a university. I have a Bachler of Arts Degree. I taught school for 12 years and then was home taking care of my father in law and children. During this time I also worked as a substitute until I came to work with KL Siple CPA. I have been here as part time for 5 years now and truly enjoy it. It has given me the opportunity to help support my family and be able to have the necessary flexibility I have needed while dealing with my child’s medical issues.
